Ok, so i have been a little laxed in posting since Le Mans, sorrey about that.

At Le Mans Peugeot protested against the Audi R15 due to its front end plate being used as an aroedynamic device. This is prohibited in the rules however the ACO clearedAll Audi R15′s for the event.

Peugoet said they would take this to the FIA for their opinon but now they have dropped this appeaal and said they will work with the ACO to highlight grey areas in the rules.

Personally i have no idea what they hoped to achive by going to the FIA in the first place? Athe ACO rule Le Mans and the Americal Le Mans Series so the Fia have no say in what goeson anyway…..

The less politics the better and the more manufators the better! We need racing not law suits.

After 3 years of trying Peugeot finally get the prize they want!

Peugeot No. 9 with Alex Wurz, Marc Gene and David Brabham crossed the line ahead of the No.8 Peugeot.

Audi No.1 of McNish, Kristenson and Capello was 3rd

Aston Martin 4th on their first attempt in the LMP1 class.

Fifth saftey car of the race and this is caused by the No.5 Team Goh Porsche. It locked its rear wheels or had a suspension failure, the car hit the barrier and then the tyre wall on the escape road. Full course yellow, Team Goh-Porsche has retired.

Car N0.39 catches fire on the entrance to the pit lane and as the Mazda engine gave out.

Aston Martin 008 is smoking and has engine problems and is in the pits.

looking like a Peugeot Victory! still 2 hours remaining……

and just when we thought everything was settling down for the finish the 64 Covette come to a halt on the entrance to pit road. the car looks like it has gear selection problems. Also the No. 87 LMGT2 Aston Martin Vantage has stopped on the circut, so its still all going on.
